A T in the Park festival -goer fleeced a taxi driver out of over £100 - after hitching a ride from Perthshire to Wishaw.
The chancer ran off without paying his £109 fare after travelling from the annual music festival T in the Park, which was held over the weekend at Strathallan Castle, Perthshire. The fare dodging incident happened on Sunday morning at around 9.30am.
He was dropped off in Stonecraig Road, Wishaw, where he made off through McAlpine Street and on to Dimsdale Road.
The man is described as white, 5’8” – 5’10”, of slim build with blue eyes and light brown hair which had blonde highlights.
He was wearing a cream t-shirt, khaki shorts and green Wellington boots.

Around 80,000 music fans attended the popular event at its new home at Strathallan Castle in Perthshire, band but organisers struggled to cope.
On Sunday, police said there had been 44 arrests and 606 people had been treated by medics on site.
Hundreds of fans were trapped in car parks for hours in the early hours of Sunday.
And the chaos continued on Monday with fans waiting up to six hours to leave the site, with no access to food or water -and forced to beg water from householders.
Organiser boss Geoff Ellis apologised for the problems.
He said: “We’ll learn lessons to make next year’s event much better. It does take a couple of years to get everything running properly.”
