On the above (top three) I do not question for one minute that you might be wrong. Once in power they think that they are invincible and can do no wrong, Thatcher being a prime example of that.

Your point that he did not gas his own people carries no credibility, having said that if a pound was to be made from such an evil act - I would not put it past him! If you cast your mind back, Evonne Fletcher was murdered by the Libyans! Gadaffi got a smile and a handshake from him, it raised eyebrows all around, just not the done thing by any party/person - unless you are Bliar with no scruples.

Back to your point that he "did'nt gas his own people". If you/I killed someone that was not one of our own, it would still be murder, the fact that it was not our own negates that argument. There are of course other factors to take into account i.e that he should also be charged with (at least) the manslaughter of our own boys and girls that did not come back from an illegal war.

There were many good people at the time saying "NO", unfortunately Bliar got his own way. Others are now coming out and saying that he was wrong, so what part of the lies and deceit do you think made the war legal?

I think we were perfectly correct in invading Iraq - the issues afterwards arose because we didn't have a plan after we won.

If we had left some of the institutions in place - instead of completely ruining them, the outcome would have been entirely different.

No it cannot be correct as it was on the issue of WMD! Bliar lied and lied to go in with his pal Bush, deceiving and lying to our parliament at the same time that WMD were there. If they had gone in on human rights/saving life issues, then I could go along with that, unfortunately that was not totally on the agenda.

We all know that the above is true. That shows the complete lack of thought that went into that campaign....unbelievable.

From where I am sat; Bliar let it become personal between him and SH, the bottom line being his out was (knowing full well what would happen) I will let the Iraqi people/law deal with SH. To my mind it was already a done deal as to what was going to happen to him.

But! Loads of top people have said and are still saying that it was an illegal war - I do not see anyone standing up apart from Bliar, saying otherwise. Remember it was on the back of WMD - not humanitarian grounds.

Did I hear correctly this evening when Andy Burnham mentioned renationalising the railways? If I did is it safe to assume that it is to become a labour party policy regardless who wins the battle or are they just jumping on the band wagon of what is popular at the moment?

this is where the thick c*nts have it wrong - yeah renationalise railways - but imo there's certain things that there should be no profit in.

Like water - apparently its quite important and a human being needs it to live? so wtf is this profit thing with water?

Ive others too.....electric, gas, health, I do realise I live amongst mongs - but ffs

I am not going to disagree with you on that one.

Unfortunately for your argument, it was still nevertheless an illegal war that culminated in the killing of tens of thousands of innocent civilians, and 179 of our own service personnel - Bliar facilitated the loss of life by fabricating the facts that were available. There are believe it or not - Rules of War.....Corbyn is of the opinion that (Bliar) should be made to answer for his illegal actions.

My thoughts are that; not until Labour do some serious in house cleansing will they ever get back into power - they should imo start with Bliar, that will be the biggest statement of intent that they are back on track with the working person - no man should be bigger than the party Or in this case the country.

I'm sure in the years to come Blair will be made to answer for his actions, I wouldn't bank on them being sensible answers because he'll probably be senile before they bother

Corbyn was being interviewed by one of the hard nosed reporters on the radio. He was repeatably asked if he would condemn IRA atrocities - he skirted the question time and time again with NO definitive answer, culminating with the line between him and the interviewer going dead. They tried to contact him again only to find out that he (Corbyn) found the interviewer rude and refused to speak to him......interesting times that could be his downfall before he has even begun.
