the periodic training is a 35 hour compulsory training that have to do in every 5 years same rule applied to LGV / HGV / PSV drivers where they get a technocard and data recorded on it

Which Council is this? Who is carrying out this training? Is it accredited?

I think I read Belfast a bit further up the posts

when you load a passenger sitting in wheel chair where is passenger facing in the back or front,
God know how im gonna load a wheelchair in a skoda

The answer is depending on the vehicle..as far as I know..no wheelchairs have been passed as safe to be loaded ...?

Q) Passenger brings a cat in a cage, where do u keep it? (boot, in front, back seat with belt or on floor near passenger)

I would say the floor.
iibdii wrote:
Q) particulate filter light comes, while u carrying passenger what do u do? (Stop & call emergency services, keep driving and get it checked after shift, drive short time on fast road, etc)

The PC answer is call the emergency services (i.e.AA) if with punters, if no punters then drive for a short time fast.

Q) periodic training done 7 hours and 5 hours, what hours will go on your record, 7, 12, or 10 and half

Not a f***ing clue.

Q) feet and back position to lift heavy suitcase

Feet horizontal, back vertical?
iibdii wrote:
Q) minimum break after 2 hours driving and in total of 8 hour shift

For self employed none, employed I guess is what is in their contract.
iibdii wrote:
Q) passenger refuse to pay because of delay on motorway, what do u do, (handbook says note details and give to ur operator) not sure if its right

Not sure what else you could do.
iibdii wrote:
Q) have a trouble with passenger how do u deal with it, (Calm, assure, control, in which order??)

That order looks good to me.
iibdii wrote:
Q) how do u load a whealchair in a taxi ) which way and where to hold it push or pull

Push in, load facing rear, pull out.
iibdii wrote:
Q) what kind of belts and one belt for wheel chair and passenger or one for each, ?

One for each.
iibdii wrote:
Q) how many years a taxi licence is issued for?

You need to look at the council rules for that.
iibdii wrote:
Q) when you sell your licenced vehicle what do u do with plates and licence (retain, return, transfer to ur new vehicle or transfer to new owner) people selling their licenced taxis here so i opted last but think it was wrong

Transfer to new owner.
iibdii wrote:
Q)do u notify LA when you (change vehicle, get parking fine, health issues, disqualified) had to select only one

Possibly all of them. But if you didn't have to do one it would be the parking fine.
iibdii wrote:
Q)what roadmarkings you can drop of passengers, (school zigzags, double solid, bus stop, cant remember last one)

Here you can do them all bar the ziz zags.

its in Northern Ireland, we have four kind of taxi plates, PH, Taxi outside 5miles of belfast, taxi and taxi bus which are london old taxis and operates on a fixed route just like buses charge £1.30 pp
once i pass the test its my choice which taxi i want to go for and on car,
the 35hour every 5 years training system is been in practice for a while for HGV /LGV Buses etc called Driver CPC and there are approved by DVA training centres. however because the taxi driving licence only started last year end they haven't got proper material or training provider for them, they ask old drivers to do them now and new drivers must pass theory and practical, and after five years if i need renew my licence i would need the 35 hours on my technocard uploaded by approved trainer

all this difference here is because the Driver and motoring agency is different than DVLA even though it works under DVLA but we have different licence saying NI and different car numbers, until last year we used to send logbooks to local DVA office now they started doing it in swansea. MOT rules are also very different and run by DVA itself, so no under the table payment pass your mot if something wrong your car

the london taxis are 20-30 year old taxis running on streets, the private hire sometimes you see the 1998 astras and nissan tinos and not a day when i dont see some driver or passenger smoking in a taxi.

just an update
passed my theory 4rth time, some of the answers were hidden in the guide some still had no clue, was 95 score out of 100, only thing i learned is u put cat in cage, on the car seat and secure it with belt. I requested the information to council under FOI act to tell me how many people actually got new licence who went through this test process, and answer came today was 3 drivers in last 9 months that exclude any renewals, for booking practical test went to testing centre and been told they looking for a new examiner so they cant give me any date but they were willing to take £60 fee, and send me a letter of appointment.
this process is for whole of Northern Ireland and once you get your licence you can use any type of taxi or PH anywhere in Northern Ireland,
after I get my licence my next worry will be insurance, as even normal car insurance is dearer than london here
