380.00 quid for a sat in your first week, on the third weekend of the month. I smell slight exageration there.

He will probably be able to log in from his I.R office in the morning. There is so much illiteracy in his posts (probably done on purpose), another type that see us in that light. A driver........... my ar$e.

He'll be back, I'm sure he's working all the hours now the honeymoon period is over.

Deltas system allows you to see areas close by with no drivers or very little vacant cabs . So instead of sitting in an area with 10 vacant cabs , you can do a 5 minute drive and get a job as soon as you hit that area .
Also lets you see the job count from the past 60 minutes in that area .
Yes you have a small drive but it allows you to get fare after fare .

but the sending of a job is down to the base op, they can send....or not send.... to any car

Deltas system works on a minutes waiting system, so the driver in that area with the most minutes gets the next job .
So if I drive to an area with no taxis in , I get the next job . Unless a taxi comes into that area with a longer waiting time .
And they keep me busy through out the day and the odd night ( fri , sat ) .
It's the system that gives the job out . The only time the operator gives a job out is if it's a price job , long distance ect .
90 % of people using delta have there numbers saved so the job goes straight into the system.

There is also a cover section which I get around 20% of my work . It's fastest finger first !!!!! It's when your in your area and there is a job in the next area with in 2 miles and there are no cabs , then it goes on the cover section . I will only use cover when the roads are clear .

Just to give you prospective on the operators / telecoms, there are 125 staff on 3 shifts 7 days a week .
I spoke to one of the council guys in the taxi office and he told me no drivers from any firms have tried to move to uber .
In fact he said they won't even get up and running in Liverpool.
Delta are hitting the advertisement hard and are taking drivers from all the firms in Liverpool, Sefton , and Knowsley.
