Sitting at stage four still. Not moving.

Keep refreshing every few hours to check lol.

I lived outside of Newcastle just over six years ago. It only asks for the past five years address history so i hope the local police checks are only local. Not that there is anything held anywhere else. But for speed of return.

I have spoken to two of the biggest firms. Both want me to pop in to get an understanding of the layout. Both are £280 & £300 per week, all in not including fuel.

12 plate or above car. Office due on Wednesdays. Not asked about account payments or % taken if any.

Also thinking of seat protectors for puking. So i can remove and replace if amyone does.

Any tips with that also. Cheers all.

So I sent off an email to Northumbria police, enquiring about the length of the stage 4 process.

Next day my dbs is completed and in printing.

So got my DBS back.

One conviction showing from 11 years ago.

No cautions shown.
No speeding shown.
No FPN shown.

Got it handed in 4 mins too late to pick my badge up the same day.

Add another PH driver to the road as of next week.

Now to choose who to go with. Either the biggest company up here. Or a small company who has all of the 4 hospital contracts.

Big company is £300 all in weekly.
Small company is £270 all in weekly.

No. Sorry. Was probably written wrong.

That is the office, car, insurance, maintenance costs per week to the company from me.

I pay fuel of course.

The small company (£270/week) may have 4 hospital contracts, but does the base pay you for account work weekly, monthly or let you deduct it from your rents?

can you wait a month if its on EOM, or worse, invoice the base EOM and THEN wait 45 days...

It is goint to take a few more months before i get the hang of some of you guys and the humour you are holding.

That is of course unless I leave the trade early due to low earnings and too much physical abuse from punters.

The big company pays you fortnightly.

The hospital contracted company pays all account every monday in cash after taking office and car out.

So was everything ok with the DBS check then? Waiting for mine and it says the same thing:

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please wait for the Certificate before making a recruitment, employment or licensing decision regarding this applicant. The issuing of a Certificate by the DBS does not mean that the applicant is deemed suitable to take up the position applied for. A decision on suitability can only be made by the recruiting or licensing body based on the information revealed as a result of the Certificate and other factors.

Im scared [edited by admin] tbh! I have a DR10 which is 7 years old and a caution for criminal damage. Im worried because theres no other forums I can find on the internet with the same quote.

Did you ask your Council about their policy on convictions for drink driving? They should have been able to advise if you are wasting your time and money or if you have a good chance of being accepted.

Hi yeah i have contacted them, the DR10 is 12 years ago, not 7. I have no idea where I got 7 from. I am more concerned with with the IMPORTANCE NOTICE bit. Is that normal? Cheers
