We could start TDO insurance at £500 a vehicle, = 150000 per year,
even have a sliding scale for those under 25, starting at £2000 reducing by £500 per year until their 25 birthday renewal, providing NC
Cameras also to be fitted
Some of these insurance company's are coining it in

Skippy, if you are saying 3000 vehicles at £500 equals £150000 you need new batteries in your calculator.

But aren't there only something like 3 insurance companies for taxis (Lloyds, Trident etc.) that all the brokers use ?
Doesn't matter which broker you use the actual insurance is always through one of those three companies, the price difference is down to the brokers commision.
If TDO set up its own insurance it would be as a broker and would still have to use the same principal insurers as all the other brokers so the price would be roughly the same, or set itself up as a main broker for which they need many £millions in bonds/reserves.
If TDO was a broker it would probably be cheaper as the commision would be lower or zero though.

Seems your toes are not helping you with multiplication Skippy, 3000 X 500 is actually 1,500,000 it would seem you lost a zero, but it was a very important zero as it showed your maths result to be 90% wrong.

Suggest shoes and socks on, then use a calculator.
