The drivers I know get tips, I think it asks if you want to tip or you can set it up to ask

how much they charge you as their comission? I use PayPal for about ten years, mostly to pay on eBay and used once to take payment for my old car I sold on eBay too, they charged me 6% of amount I received.

whatever it is you cant add it to a meter fare, and the fare for a business might want a vat reciept

PayM (Pay by mobile), of which the best known example is Barclays Pingit seems to be the way forward for fares under £30.

Does anyone use it? I have it set up, but no one has wanted to pay me with it yet! :?
