Not necessarily they have a lot to prove so with their backs to the wall maybe it will be a special performance from England otherwise it's curtains

On any other occasion that did/does not affect our destiny, I would be rooting for England rugby/Football/Cricket etc, for personal reasons that I am sure that you will understand..............tomorrow is Pom bashing day (metaphorically speaking of course)

From what I have seen you are up against a very good Aussie side, having said that England are also a very good side, it should be a good match.

I think all England rugby fans can hang their heads in shame because all that preparation over 3 years has amounted to our worst ever world cup ! I think Stuart lancaster can start looking for another job !

I don't think it is the fans who should be hanging their heads in shame. They don't pick the team or play on the pitch.

They pay good money to watch it.

If there wasn't Rugby League and Union the England team would be better off IMO

As ever this Nation looks for a scapegoat, in particular England at the moment.

People tend to forget the progress that SL has made since taking over in 2011. He has had some very impressive victories during that time over the worlds best, and I am not talking about Wales (as proud as I am of them). At NO time have I felt confident of winning against a very good England side, a side that were many years ago the whipping boys/easy street of rugby for us, times have moved on and England are no longer pushovers.

It is time imo for a nation to get together and to back SL, Robshaw and the squad, yes mistakes were made, perhaps the heights expected were not achieved! So do you build on what you have (because there is no devine right to success), or shall/will you take him off to the Tower for another good old fashioned English past time and chop off their heads. I would stick with what you have and build on it, as change is not always best. You need to back your team/squad/manager, they need that very badly as they have not gone bad overnight.
