What if a Liverpool cab picked up off the road......in Sefton... a flag..

you are moving the goalposts


1- Liverpool plate/sefton pickup....legal if prebooked be it HC or PH

2. Liverpool plate/sefton WORKING (full time) .... not legal


in neither case need the Liverpool plate use his/her meter (if fitted)

O.K. I am getting bored .....all the liverpool cabs over the last five years that have been prosecuted for illegally plying for hire in Sefton have also been prosecuted for no insurance..because of this clause regarding conditions of licence,
Now is seems that some bright spark has realised that if you have this type of clause in your policy and you break a condition of licence in your own district they can also prosecute you for no insurance..as in the not using the meter at the beginning of this thread..

That's my take on this......P S..Taxidrivers...need to check their policies.....And what about Uber...not using meter...

You said "picked up in Sefton" you didnt originally state "plying/flag" there is a difference
