Question Time Mother Tears Apart The Tories For Lying About Tax Credits Cut

A desperate mother last night launched an impassioned tirade at one top Tory minister, hounding the Government for slashing tax credits despite a pre-election pledge not to.

The audience member, who spoke out on BBC 'Question Time', berated energy secretary Amber Rudd for backing a move that will see an average £1,300 cut to the annual income of around 3.2 million families.

"You cut tax credits after promising you wouldn't," the aggrieved lady lamented.

"I work bloody hard for my money. To provide for my children to give them everything they've got - and you're going to take it away from me and them.

"I can hardly afford the rent I've got to pay, I can hardly afford the bills I've got to do, and you're going to take more than me."

As Rudd shifted with discomfort, the woman shouted, "shame on you."

If they can't feed them don't breed them. Why should the country pick up the tab for her opening her legs and farting kids out? It's about time we had a limit on how many children people can have. China had the right idea.

We're being invaded by the migrants who are claiming Working Tax and Child Tax Credits for children who aren't even in this country.

I say stop it and let them live off vouchers, it pisses me off when I see parents out on the piss spending their Child Tax Credits on beer, drugs and fags.

Single mother, four kids, £243 a week in tax credits. Got her own business. Nail bar. Why should she be subsidised? Unfair competition for starters.

That's the problem with such benefits, they create a state of dependancy where none existed before, they also create a generation that think they have a god given right to being subsidised by the state, it also creates a scenario where employers prefer to employ people on the magic 18 hours a week benefit ceiling than give the more industrious worker a full 40 hour a week job.

No, these things should be means tested, No more of this "I have a right to it so I demand it" Mentality.

When I was brought up as part of a family of 5 Kids there was no such freebies, people worked hard and supported their families on income earned, most often just on one Income at that and that work ethic passed down to us kids, now all the parents pass on is the burden of child upkeep to their fellow tax payers..

Anger as Wirral council 'super director' to get £250,000 pay-off

Wirral Lib Dem leader Phil Gilchrist says he is concerned over payment

Council chiefs in Wirral are facing questions over why they agreed to allow one of their “super-directors” to leave with a £250,000 pay-off - while the authority is struggling to maintain services.

Wirral council’s strategic director for regeneration and environment, Kevin Adderley, had requested early retirement from his job.

Council bosses made their decision at an employment committee meeting held behind closed doors, but now minutes have become available.

Lib Dem leader Phil Gilchrist, who was in the meeting, said: “I was not convinced that the early retirement route was appropriate in this case.

“And we are struggling to keep services going in our communities, they are being run hand to mouth with very little money.

“For example, we could have got a few more hours of open libraries for that kind of money.”

One of three so-called “super directors”, Mr Adderley has worked for the authority for 10 years.

The cash includes £207,000 to top up his pension and severance of £49,057 “entitlement based on service and weekly salary in accordance with council’s current severance scheme”.

A Wirral council report said the salary saving from deletion of the post “would be £150,675 per annum including on-costs”.

The council’s head of asset management and assistant chief executive, David Armstrong, is due to take over Mr Adderley’s ‘line management’ responsibilities.

A spokesperson for the council said: “The offer of a severance payment is open to all employees who have two years or more continuous service. All payments made are in line with our agreed and published voluntary redundancy scheme. “

depends how far up the food chain you are - his pay off equates to 1000 weeks plus of tax credits - about 20 years.

THats a somewhat jaundiced view bloodknock i suspect you dad was in full time employment with full employment rights from day one, and very likely Unionised, your mother was of course receiving CHILD BENEFIT courtesy of Attlee's government, no doubt there were no prescription charges, rents were of course controlled and homes actually affordable for many! the DEBT trap had not been opened no CC's at rip off rates and Hire Purchase difficult to obtain a different world indeed! where a mothers place was in the home a family could live fairly well on one wage and that job was normally secure.

This stupid cow believed the bullsh!t pumped OUT by the Tory vermin and has paid the price or her children will! i couldnt give a flying fu^k about her but her children must protected, she considered herself ABOVE others stupid slag and was quite prepared to go down the ME FIRST route well crybaby learn the lesson

FEKKING TORY SCUM ONLY EVER LOOK AFTER THE RICH #-o #-o #-o
