Luton and stansted are £2.50 and luton is chaos at the moment as they are rebuilding the car parks again and moving everyone even further away from the terminal !!!

And all the time we/punters pay it it will remain so.

If there is nothing we can do then it's not worth beating ourselves up about it, if there is then we should do that.

In the end we must add it to the punters bill, and let them moan about it to the airport folks.

I wonder if uber has a way of charging it back to the customers or do the drivers have to pay it out of their 80%

What, from a machine that only accepts £1.00 coins? There is a notice on the machine at the barrier that tells you to get a receipt from the car park office BEFORE you enter the drop off zone. But the notice is as you leave the drop off zone. The office is in front of the arrivals terminal so you can't get to it BEFORE entering the zone and you only have 10 minutes to leave the zone so what are you supposed to do to get the receipt?
