Anyone here have the e-mail address starting cabbyjohn01@....... ?

There's a supposed list of hacked talktalk details (might not be genuine) on pastebin and the first e-mail listed is cabbyjohn.
It's probably fake and all they've done is searched for talktalk email addresses on google and copy pasted a few.

I'm still struggling to fathom out how that firm could have been so lax with their customers details.

If you can't be bothered to properly encrypt customer credit card and bank details, then best you go bust.

They've been having DNS attacks all week but decided to do nothing about them.

Oi behave

Ironically we have just left Talktalk in the last month! It is my way of protesting that they have yet again put their prices up (something like twice in six months). We have now switched to sky ( I was bought with a £100 M&S voucher),we would have spent that cash wise in M&S over the year, so it is a saving. Within days of being connected, Sky notified us that theirs/ours is going up in December, however we will not be any the worse off.

As for Cabbyjohn01 being mine.....nah.

what do you mean all week their email is nearly impossible to get into all the time basically they don't have the capability to handle the volume so DDS is 24/7/365 caused by their own customers because they just can't handle the volume due to chronic under investment

I notice almost all the names on that list are tiscali email addresses I have long suspected that those with tiscali addresses get a second class service from talk talk whats the betting their data was the least secure so the easiest to pinch

Have you noticed they've pulled the Talk Talk sponsorship from the Fix Factor?

Does Tiscali still exist? I was with them many years ago.

I thought that it was Talktalk who bought them out!

Just looked it up, apparently Talktalk were going to buy them....and then

Carphone Warehouse
ended up buying them......and then we have talk about Tiscali accounts being targeted within Talktalk = as clear as mud #-o
