Our office adds £10 to each cars December rents for the staffs 'xmas bonus' which equates to about £100 bonus for each staff member. Last year we lowered our fares and scrapped the highest tariffs at xmas and new year (T2 now instead of T3) so on every fare I lost the £3 extra charged at those times. Any operators working xmas day, boxing day and new years day get TRIPLE pay, QUADRUPLE between midnight and 7am !

So the drivers lost out on extra earnings but still had to pay a compulsory bonus to the office staff who all had a pay rise last year and again six months ago.

everyone knows exactly what hes like mate, he is quite open & blatant about the extras at xmas also, it goes to him, we have between 120-150 cars on for this firm , all have to pay the extra at the xmas/new years, the staff get about 20 quid bonus ( i asked them) the rest goes to him, his reason ? we are on higher tariff`s on xmas day/boxing day, nye & nyd & the work is up, i asked him if we could knock 20 quid off when on normal tariff & the work is slow?, he just laughed & walked off , i hate the bloke tbh , hes the greediest person i have ever met in my life & the bloke is rolling in cash thanks to us, still, my new datahead is worth a few bob apparently ( new autocab minos one) so he will lose out in the long run

Q. When you go on 2 weeks to Benidorm do you have to pay rent "to keep your slot open" ?

that aimed at me mate? if so no, i can come/go as i please, i just tell them im having a week off & can take as many as i want , oh & i don't go to Benidorm, prefer Albuferia , nobody does that do they ?? pay rent when not at work? why would you , you aint earned it

You can have 4 weeks every year without paying rent.

15 years ago, on a radio base, he wanted paying, so i gave the radio back.....oddly he welcomed me back after the holiday
