Yes and all courtesy of the politicians who meddle in the affairs of others, who then hide behind security (that we pay for), whilst innocents get slaughtered. We are told that we have democracy, the trap being the word "told". If we actually lived in a democratic society we would never be in the mess that we are in. We have all heard of the historical 100 year war! It will be a mere blip in time....as this could go on for ever and a day.

I say sod the money and the apparent monetary/job benefits of the E.U (that I have yet to see 40+ years down the line), security and life are far more important, and a bloody good reason to get out.

You are way off of the mark on that one! Europe had been invaded and we were next.

The troubles that we are now having is because Brits have always been the thieves of the world ! In this case mineral wealth that is not ours, but we topple a regime in order to access it.

Take this on board Syria,Afghanistan,Iraq etc are thousands and thousands of miles away, they are basically 3rd/4th world countries....how come we are involved? when there (at the time) was or would be, NO threat to us?

Let me put this to you.

If you had neighbours who were out and out bad guys, rowing/fighting all the time, and you knocked on the door and started interfering....how long would it be before bricks stated coming through your windows?

a) we started interfering back in medieval days and the muslims have never forgot that !!
