Reportedly the certification officer is about to investigate the GMB Union over its recent election of a new General Secretary

There only 2 candidates on the ballot Paper both unelected Regional secretarys [in the GMB Regional secretarys on at least £70000 a year are selected for life in secret behind closed doors and never have to face their membership in an election or re election absolutely disgusting of course and corrupt in my opinion} anyway it appears that another candidate wished to be on the Ballot paper and the candidate believes that he/ she was excluded from the ballot paper unfairly

The certification officer has concluded that this complaint has a reasonable chance of success and will be heard very likely in Feb or March next year.

The actual Ballot was amazing in achieving the lowest turnout ever recorded in a Gen sec election within the GMB, only 27000 of 650000 members could be bothered to vote, the so called winner got 15034 votes less than 2% of the membership

Now the 2 candidates on the Ballot paper were to be truthful absolutely abysmal one grovelling royalist dolt from Yorkshire region and the other a PSYCHOPATH from North west and Ireland region,

Obviously the membership were sending a message to these 2 tossers

So the position now is Paul the Groveller Kenny [he recently took a Knight Hood for which he was roundly condemned] will sit tight and await the Certification officers decision. the most likely being a re run of the ballot including all who wish to stand within the rules and EXCLUDING THESE 2 DOLTS who of course supported the unfair election!!

Naturally Paul Kenny will be maneuvering as usual and it appears Paul Hayes GMB London region will be moved out to make way for Warren Kenny the son of Paul Kenny. Warren Kenny is renowned for his stupidity and is roundly detested within the GMB,.Obviously the 95000 members in London region will not be permitted to vote or indeed nominate candidates for the position of their regional secretary

Finally to further illustrate the deviousness of this outfit its noteworthy that the Scottish Regional secretary Harry Donaldson has been shipped out to be replaced by one Gary Smith a right wing Labourite who has considerable ability but is a complete coward .........................all without allowing the 50000 Scottish members a vote of course or indeed any sat in who the candidates should be

The GMB is rapidly establishing itself as an undemocratic corrupt Union as was recently stated in an Employment Tribunal hearing by Kevin Curran a former general sec of the GMB and reported in some newspapers !


Add all this to the unseemly activitys within the Professional Drivers London and its clear GMB's reputation is beginning to WHIFF a bit
