Think about it!

Corbyn is being ridiculed for taking a step back from the rest, and taking a stance that is .....different!

So let us look at some historical facts;

Stating the obvious....the Americans bombed the hell out of Vietnam for years.....and failed massively.

The Russians bombed the hell out of Afghanistan for years........and failed massively.

Twin towers was brought down, so Bush went to war in Iraq (imo as a form of appeasement to the American public) - a situation of......Hey look what we are doing for the American people. they bombed the f$&k out of the place and as ever left a massive mess behind..........it failed massively. Oh and having bombed Iraq....Bin Laden was hiding in Turkey! what a f%*king own goal big time.

Fast forward to Paris........

A terrible atrocity takes place followed by the same knee jerk reactions of the Americans......they now want to bomb the hell out of Syria.........Oh really! it appears that they learn nothing from history.

The bottom line being is that...yes we do have problems, but knee jerk reactions/appeasement for political gain/reasons, should not be the tactics for bombing a country into rubble, as it is a proven failure. Basically you can bomb them all day/night, unfortunately they (the terrorists) live among us.....so it sounds a bit futile to me.

Corbyn is a bit off the wall on certain things, however I do not think that he is on this one.

And we will see if the good folks of Oldham agree with him on Thursday.

I think he was referring to tanker lorries and Grandad i think we have advisers there what is needed is spotters amongst the forces fighting isis to pinpoint targets our people are well away from any front line for obvious reasons

How do you think targets are identified at the moment? Pot luck? Whedn the government say "advisers" they mean special forces. :roll: :roll: :roll:

if that's so why are the experts calling for greater cooperation to achieve better success ? If our special forces are out there on the front line why aren't these targets now all destroyed ?

It wasn't a point about who was doing the identifying it was a point about how the target was identified.

Based on the above facts: as a matter of interest......who among us think that Cameron is right in wanting to bomb Syria? and would it cure the problem?

Iraq was never bombed to get Bin Laden. Afghanistan was bombed to get Bin Laden and he was killed in Pakistan not Turkey.
