Pete as you now have some influence in political circles what are the chances you could get the council to do something about those pesky 4 way temporary traffic lights   can't think of a worse junction to sight them on in Melton !!!

I wish I could. Unfortunately, roads come under County Hall. The work being carried out is an upgrade to our electricity supply. We have to build around 4,000 new homes within the town in the next 20 years and the current electricity supply simply will not cope. We are just about at capacity now. They started work on this job in January this year at the Thorpe Arnold end of Thorpe Road so they should be done soon. [-o< [-o< [-o<

4,000 new home, up to 10,000 more prospective punters.

The future looks good.

That is 4,000 in the town. A total of 6,125 throughout the Borough.

Quite a bit. All Councils are having to build thousands of homes. Your lot seem to be building most of them around Grantham.

I think they may be back soon. Don't try going through Melton tomorrow. It will be a nightmare.
