finally got to read it today not sure that all that waffle about NTA conference at the end that could all have been summed up in a couple of paragraphs otherwise fairly well constructed and clear.

So are you taking requests for future installments and if so can i suggest an enlarged diatribe on the widely differing fees being set by local authorities for 3 year badges up and down the country there must be plenty to get your teeth into there :D

The difference in fees for three year badges is unreal. Our three year badges come in at £186 + £40 for the DBS. Over the border in Mansfield it's £160 all in.

ours is £232.90 + dbs (3 year) Rutland is £61 (annual ?) Peterborough is £74 south Holland £153 all in I'm beginning to think that ours is the second most expensive in the UK

Why don't you challenge it, ask for a breakdown of what it cost to produce it
