The problem with supporting abortion is similar to support for rape. Most if not 90%+++ of abortions are not due to rape. Like anyone here will know, most rape cases are down to regret and it's down to the woman after the action. Whatever they feel and choose. Julian Assange, Reggie Yates comes to mind.

The problem with passing emotive laws is they always hurt the majority. An attack in Paris leads to the bombing of Syria and killing thousands mostly innocent. And many essential French EU citizen rights are taken away, just like that. As an example.

Abortion should be illegal and left to doctors, women and clinical professionals to call the shots in those cases where a life must be saved. Killing the baby is still murder however you want to look at it. It's planned and executed. Besides it does not change the fact or erase the knowledge that the mother was raped.

There are a lot of tragedies in someone's life that we live forever with. Some are caused by our own mistakes. But human beings have an enormous strength to overcome and change the situation/memory. So abortion does not change the facts on the ground and regrettably we try to convince women that murdering the innocent child makes everything right or go away. And we walk with heads held high that we fixed the memory leak.

"Your freedom of speech is guaranteed. You have it. What I cannot guarantee is your freedom AFTER speech." Iddi Amin Dada (President of Uganda)

I think that legally you are wrong.

More importantly hes never going to have to decide for HIMself.......

if his wife/daughter/sister ever got raped (god forbid) he might change his mind quick

Or I might know about the good of Adoption and the joy that can bring, the difference though is compassion for mother and child.

I just believe that it should be for the woman to decide, maybe in conjunction with other parties depending on circumstances. I do not believe that a woman should be forced to continue with a pregnancy if she doesn't want to.

100%, we have too many single parents as it is, maybe advice on not getting pregnant would help too

Simply Pro life, 5 kids, God knows how many more through SD, the joy though of a child being adopted in to a loving family is priceless, I know this because I know couples who can't have children who have adopted, I've thought about it myself and may do so in future.
