what he means is the meter is only applicable for the LA's stretch of any journey

Just ask. It is public money that is being spent so the public have a right of access. You are well aware that the result of all Leicestershire school tenders are available on line. The information on line gives the contract number, the number of tenders received, the name of the winner and the price that the tender was won at. It also states the highest tender submitted.

Yes BUT, that means the OPs LO went looking and besides, LCCs "results" page doesnt give job details, hust winner/amount/highest/lowest, so the LO must have made a specific request to the county council

i dont doubt it but consider the waste of time, 1000's of requests from your LO to check EVERY contract?

and the same amount of waste at county?
