A very Merry Xmas and safe New Year to everyone on TDO, and the thousands of lurkers. (yes that's what the stats say)

I will be out and about over the period, and then afterwards in the New Year in my brand new f***ing expensive Mondeo. Image

I have clocked off and hung my keys up (30th Nov 2015) so my Christmas/New Year off is permanent. To all of you be safe, and hope to have the usual slagging off/banter in the New Year from all who wish to do so. In the meantime I hope that you all have a good one whatever you are all doing, and a special mention to the ones left behind after losing someone, that your loss if possible becomes easier to bear.

Wimping out, sat in shorts and t shirt in the sunshine of Dubai, with my family. Will be back in the new year. Life's great when you're getting on a bit!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New year to all.

I finished my last shift Saturday. Christmas here (Chester) with the family and then, on the 27th, the wife and I, along with our two hounds, are off to the highlands for a week in a log cabin where there is no phone signal let alone Internet !(what will I do without TDO ?) Just not looking forward to the 360 mile journey in a Landrover defender.
