how do people die in floods? surely you would just say " getting a bit wet here now, lets go somewhere else " i cant understand it at all ??

people always take silly risks and think that their car will make it through trouble is you cant see the road and I think most of them end up off it in a ditch. One of our regular customers who sadly died earlier this year once told me that as kids they used to go down to a particular stretch of road notorious for flooding and stand on the raised footpath waiting for cars to attempt to try their luck they used to charge drivers a shilling (a lot of money in those days) to push them out. Apparently they could make more in a day doing that than they got pocket money in a year !

I don't understand it living in sunny prestonpans I often walk into the sea and inhale the water when it goes above my head. And omfg don't flounders talk a load of fukkin [edited by admin].
