Took a visitor across town today, £5 fare she was from Bournemouth

£4,90 is exactly a mile drive with me... don't know how far you take him for a fiver but I bet not too far...

as most taxi drivers do ( i honestly will never understand it ) , had a fare today ( supposed to be a set fare of £13.00) she comes up to me , " going to the national express bus station in Newcastle , will £20 cover it? you don't take cards & that's all the cash i have , me - "should do i tell ya what, i will just do it for the 20 & will just turn off the meter at £3" just in case there is traffic :lol: :lol: , canny couple tbh, they were ever so grateful :lol:
