In a way it would have been funny watching the Scottish economy plunge into chaos as a direct result of that vote but common sense prevailed and i think many of the voters clamoring for independence might now be thinking that was a close call !

Alex's get out clause, hearing he preffered Devo Max but Cameron knew this and took it off the ballot box.

Without oil revenue Scotland's GDP would still have held up within an independent Scotland.

Yes, we have what Europe want though, an energy source, water, wind, wave, hydro electric and tidal, Alex was right when he said 25%of all europes energy needs, that's why Westminster are desperate to keep us, then there's Whisky, tourism and Fish.

I'd say we could do well without oil, 67% want to stay in the eu though, not me but hey ho that's how it goes, we live to fight another day :D

There is only going to be another vote if polls consistently show around 60% support, 70% of under 25s voted Yes so definitely another vote one day or if the majority England vote to pull out of the eu, I'm voting no to eu as well of course.

Yes edders 25% :D

It's not worth sh1te...it'll go the same way as coal has and the same way as Gas will be going if the EU gets it's way...why the Feck Wee Eck and Wee Jimmy Krankie love and promote Oil and Gas as our saviour when at the same time they hate their fossil cousin Coal is a Mystery to me. Their loopy Green agenda is selective to say the least.

Ask your self why?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-29310475

Then ask your self which countries around Europe are rich in renewable potential

Correct Scotland's energy sector has a future

Winds useless, its to inefficient and the wind to unpredictable to be of real use to fuel the nations needs, they should go Tidal, wave or Hydro...if your going to do it then do it right without fecking up our best wealth creating asset..our scenery.

The potential.

I agree lets do it right, it's not about one source, it's the whole lot that offers maximum potential.

Jockistan is ripe for fracking, a) it has the geological possibility and b) no fecker lives where they could drill
