A very quick look on google maps shows over the 3 mile stretch of Stockport Road (where the incident took place);

9x public houses
1x Asda superstore (and 1x smaller Asda, do they have wc's?)
2x Mcdonalds
1x KFC
1x Subway (the sandwich place!)
2x Public libraries
1x Community centre
1x cash and carry
1x sports centre
1x Health centre
1x Tesco metro
1x Shell petrol station

But he only tried 4 shops !? - and didn't bother trying the places that obviously DO have toilets

doesnt say how they got from Blackpool but there are services on most motorways, and why didnt they head home ASAP?
