Like I said, they must be having trouble with the trade in Leicester for example, bad driving, over charging, sexual assaults the list can go on and on.

We are having our policy updated at the moment. It is going to be compulsory for drivers to attend a sexual exploitation awareness course. So by your way of thinking there must be a problem with sexual exploitation involving the taxi trade in our town.

Please point me in the direction where I said Melton had a problem with Sexual Exploitation? Your making things up again.

Are you telling me you have driven through Leicester and not encountered bad driving by the trade there ? I would have thought you have personal experience of it ?

A woman who works for us escorting has a daughter who's at Leicester University doing a Teaching degree, the horror stories her daughter has told her about Hackney Drivers in Leicester will open your eyes. In the Student Union they're told to avoid using the Hackneys because of past bad experiences with them.

Of course that would not have anything to do with the student union striking a deal with one of the private hire firms would it!

The local hacks often Block the entrance of the Uni making it very difficult to drop off there !!!!!

With the Students safety at risk is there any wonder they've done a deal with a local "trustworthy PH Company?"

Obviously I would never condone such behaviour. But of the 6 links that you have posted, 4 refer to the same case, 1 is not likely to have been a Leicester vehicle because the driver was from Nuneaton, the pick up was in Nuneaton and dropped just outside Hinckley. 1 was not even a taxi driver at all.

The ones that were Taxi Drivers were Taxi Drivers, if the points system stop all of this I'm all for it.

If they've nothing to hide they've nothing to fear.

You mean the ONE that was a Leicester taxi driver.
The points system will do nothing to stop this behavior anyway. If you get caught doing sexual stuff you lose your licence, you don't get points. As has been mention ed already, these points systems penalise the ordinary driver not the bad driver.

A rape is a rape. Like I've said, "if you've nothing to hide there's nothing wrong with a points system."

On a points system you can get points for having a car that, in the opinion of the enforcement person, is dirty. Even if you have just come from a job at a local farm. you can get points for a bulb that has just blown. One thing I can guarantee you is that you will not get any points for a rape.
