Councils are about to use the clean air act to ban the use of e-cigs in taxis

I disagree, here's the evidence

doesn't matter what scientists say. "my" company has a restrictive policy about that and I'm happy with that too. I know it's only vapour but I personally don't like smell of somebody's breath blown out of his mouth all over my cab, it's like unicorn's farts evryone knows that they're made and smell rainbow but it's disgusting. I'm on "no".

there was no major increase in toxins between normal air and ecig vapor.

There were no major increase in toxins! The bottom line being is that there is an increase of toxins of some kind.

Also we all know the main reason for LA's not allowing ecigs, will be because others will smoke a normal ciggy in their cab/car......and then claim that it was an ecig, I guess that it is not going to happen anytime soon.

And then a couple of weeks ago, they were claiming that the results of smoking chemicals will not be known for many years, so basically the usual BS floats around in the meantime

The only chemical in them is nicotine, the VG and PG used to make them aren't chemicals.

Beware of the Tobacco companies and the Government who are paying companies to come out with, "Ecigs are dangerous and are not to be used."

The Government have shares and bonds in the big tobacco companies which at this moment in time are worthless.

There's something happening because Philip Morris the big USA tobacco company has bought a share in Joytech, one of the biggest Ecig manufacturers in China.

E cigs should be banned in taxis the clouds of vapour DO stain the vehicle and eventually will cause it to stink and the solvents used can and DO cause asthma in some people

Just because Ecigs are perceived to be safer than normal ones doesn't mean they are completely harmless    #-o #-o #-o

I have seen these things being used in confined spaces and the amount of vapour produced would soon fill a car and make visibility a problem.

Well thanks to the add link placed on here 3 years ago, I went from 60 a day to zero , haven't touched a cigarette thanks to the ecig,
I now feel 100% fitter, or I will once I have lost the stone I put on
I went into the royal in Edinburgh, to have 2 splenic stents fitted, last year, and the consultants doctors and nurses, where more than happy for ecig users to use them in their beds, they had even had them checked in the lab, and its true , the only thing exhaled is water vapour, apart from the nicotine, the other 2 ingredients are used every day in food products

There is of course the other danger - they can explode! At least ordinary cigarettes did not explode, can you imagine one of these things going off in your cab.

the only explode due to the dimbars not using the correct chargers. They are using phone chargers which are to powerful. Use the lead that comes with the device.

I've been vaping for 4 years, none of my devices have blown up because I know how to charge them.

I think you'll find that's the ingredients of the battery, the ingredients are VG, PG used in everyday foods, distilled water and flavouring.

I doesn't last long. I blow plumes of vapour, it doesn't hinder my visibility.

Solvents? I'm reading the ingredients on my bottle from a well known juice maker in the UK, it reads like this, VG 60% PG 30% Distilled water 5% flavouring 4% nicotine 1%.

It doesn't stain my vehicle in any way shape or form, in fact people comment on how nice it smells when they get into the car.

When I smoked I suffered with asthma, it was controlled by inhalers and steroid tablets. Since I've been vaping I've thrown the inhalers and I've not had a steroid tablet in 4 years.

When people give up smoking their lungs go into cleaning mode giving them the symptoms of Asthma, its nothing to do with the Ecigs.

If they're that bad for you why are they handing them out on prescription to people who want to give up the weed?
