so bought a hack, has wheelchair telescopic ramps & will never ever take a w/c tbh, was advised to pop them in the shed at once ( by the other hacks i talk to on my school run), they reckon if the council pull you & you don't have the ramps ( say they broke & are waiting for a set of e bay etc & produce the ones you have ) they cant take you off the road? any thoughts ? tbh if i got flagged off someone in a w/c i would just drive past tbh

If you don't carry working ramps you could be in more trouble than just driving by.

Don't know about your neck of the woods but if you are snap inspected by a licensing officer or vosa and the ramps are missing so is your plate

This, more fooking trouble than they are worth , normal rates now ( although the fookers get a shedload of cash per month for mobility )

But you get the extra jobs above what a non-WAV gets....often W&R's.....

BTW, if you charge everyone the same you can charge the wheelchair jobs too
