hi all i drive a MONDEO DIESEL HATCHBACK - 1.6 eco boost. its a 12 plate. done about 40k. Anyway when depressing clutch you get a grind, not very loud but guessing its the clutch release/throwout bearing. My question is, whats best to get it sorted out or get a new clutch and waterpump (been told to do waterpump at the same time) ive been told the labour charge is about the same for both the throwout and the clutch.

any advice would be great

I don't normally do mending, but a long time ago, before I was a Taxi driver, when I had a Ford Galaxy I had a similar problem. Turned out to be the hinge that the pedal rotated on and a slight dab of oil cured it.

Just maybe?
