So Goku, are you driving your own plated car or driving another owners car?

£2000 for a new policy is very low, who is that with?

Milestone is a broker not an insurance company. Who is the underwriter?

I can believe the fairly low cost as it obviously all depends on the driver's age and how low risk the area of operation is classed.

My first year last year without using my private no claims was £1350 for ph through a broker with Sabre. Had to add public liabilty and legal expenses on top.

This year with one year's taxi no claims it's £1550 but thats with a more expensive vehicle and also public liability and legal expenses thrown in. This time with Tradex.

To be fair in a lot of places it's that and much more.

I'm fortunate to live and work in a rather twee area to be a taxi driver so I'm lucky. I'm also a more mature chap with regard to age :P

The broker told of a quote he did last year for a 21 year old first year with no no claims, in I think it was Rochdale or somewhere similar.

Quote was £9000!!

Amazingly the guy took it according to the broker!!!!!
