1. Q. How can a customer of Uber order a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle?

They are refusing a disabled person the use of a service they are providing for able bodied people, I am led to believe when you first sign up to the service it does not state that they refuse to provide a service to wheelchair bound people.

Again this service (UBER)is operating in a way TAXI and private hire operators are not allowed too.

We are pleased to annouce that our 'Uber for business' product is ready and we'd love your help to get it up and running! This is just one of our solutions to get a more diversified rider base using the platform. We'd really like your help in suggesting some of your great local business contacts who might be interested in having an Uber for Business account. This will really help everyone benefit and be even busier on the platform. If you have any contacts, please click here or the button below and let us know their details. We'll get in touch to find out their requirements and provide assistance in getting their account set up.

I'm sure they'll be delighted to help take account work from local operators

UBER in a nutshell (in the UK)

a private hire firm (locally plated cars, no cross border visitors)

a cyber app base op.....no feeding

a local PH ops licence

no show get charged

soiling gets charged

I can see why PH bases have got the jitters
