After just having a 25 % increase in our fees implemented last month, next week our Council will be meeting to agree another set of fees next week. Last month the fees were set at £138 for a 3 year drivers license, £350 for a 5 year operators license and £252.50 for a 1 year vehicle license.
Next week it is proposed to change the fees to £363 for a 3 years drivers license, £750 for a 5 year operators license and for some strange reason, £157 for a 1 year vehicle license. These fees are due to be implemented on April 1st subject to statutory notification.

No wonder you resigned from being a Councillor...I'd not like to be tarred by the same brush as that shower of greedy Barstewards.

The committee only got the papers last night so I have not had any feedback yet.

Cos when you multiply the yearly fee by 5 and drop a tenner that's what it comes out at. I did ask but never really understood their answer to be honest, I think I'll be asking for it in writing instead so I can keep reading their reply until it makes sense

If only there was a national body that would investigate and act on behalf of people - instead of p*ssing their money against the wall that is themselves (and uber)
