i cant understand why some drivers cant have waiting time on there meter  , you could get a fare to tescos & have to wait for them to shop for nothing then or is that taking it a bit far? i just don't understand, im sorry if i had no waiting time on my meter i would not wait at takeaways etc, or i would just click it on the extras in front of them & explain why, if they weren't happy i would just say well phone another once you get your meal sorted & leave , the last ph i worked for clicked over 20p per min, if you hit f3 when they were out the car it knocks on 50p or f2 would add another 20p extra, rarely used it though , waiting at a cashpoint or a shop while they bought some ciggies on the way out on the drink, if it was a takeaway i would though

My meter does charge for waiting but at 20p a minute it's not worth it. If people want to treat me like i'm a chauffeur then I should start charging them chauffeur prices.

Gripe of the day, sat at East Midlands Airport for 1½ hours waiting for someone who's flight had landed at 13:50. They came out of the arrivals at 15:20.

No, I'd rather not wait and would rather be driving around with passengers in my car and the meter on. Do you notice how much a 5 minute job can cost? Now would you rather be sat there waiting earning 20p a minute?
