What's the best way to finance a new or at the very oldest 1 year old car for private hire? Hire purchase, personal loan?

I've heard its possible to hand the car back mid term if its a hire purchase deal which sounds appealing a ill likely change my car every 30 to 36 months?

My credit score is very good and i have the option of a personal loan at 3.5% apr

as Sir Nigel de Mansfield says, cabs4less, he got me a discount and 4% interest but only cos the 15 plate came out when i wanted a car, currently quoting £15,999 OTR for 1.6tdi Superb hatch (plus colours plus real spare)

being vat regd i got my deposit paid by the VATman....£2750 discount besides what Cabs4less got me off

Some dealers do 0% finance, but other than that I would get a personal loan at 3.5% and shop around.

Get VAT registered, get a new car on lease, get the vat back every month, hand car back every 2 years, get a new one, pay less tax.

most wont do that cos cash fares would have to inc vat and they dont invoice the account work they do direct, its via a base so theyd have a total loss on vat returns, paying to to HMRC but not getting as input from work...

when you check the fine print theres always a catch, it might say 0% but they make it up somewhere

Not if it had to go in for warranty work with 80k on a 18 month old motor. The dealer will notify the finance house. I've seen it happen not so long ago round here.
