I called cabs direct yesterday to get a price for a exhaust back box and connection pipe for my 2010 Peugeot partner tepee and they quoted me £320+vat and delivery and then i would have to pay someone to fit it, obviously with the wheelchair conversion the exhaust is not a standard Peugeot part but seriously what a rip off.
I then called a local exhaust specialist and they built and fitted a bespoke stainless steel back box and connection pipe for £250.00

Well the OP did say "obviously with the wheelchair conversion the exhaust is not a standard Peugeot part" which surely answers your question.

not really, i cant see them producing a bespoke expensive system instead of working around the standard system

Well if the converters will supply one because it's non standard and G8 Cab went to the expense of a non-standard bespoke exhaust, it would stand to reason that they have produced such a thing.
Perhaps there was simply no way to work around it.
