The link, was simply a link to the cabbyfor..... you know the last bit.

Sirius commented in response to my topic, that it was a shame MrT had been barred.

I sent him a PM with the link to the 'other side' so he, like myself could continue to follow Trevors entertaining and knowledgable postings.

Nothing more sinister than that, no porn, no advertising, meerly a link to a Taxi forum.

Hope that clears up your query.

. . . . and yes I would like to share it with everyone, but that would trigger yet another ten pages of argueing. :wink:

I dont know what you mean TDO, the thing is, I got a message from another forum member, a link had been changed, although why that should happen in a private message is beyond me, but I put it down to the software but do not know how it works, so am unable to say.

But when I checked the message again it now says that it was edited by the admin, that suggested to me that it had been, well edited :?

Had it never occured to you that the person who sent the link may have sent it as you received it? TDO does not interfere with personal messages or private message links. If you received the link the way you posted it on here then that is the way it was sent to you by GBC. TDO will only alter links in the public forum if they think the link is inappropriate.

And as for deregulating the cab trade, just for the record remind me of a council in the UK that has ended regulations. :-k

As I have said, when I first recieved the link, it contained the word Liar or Liars, It looked much the same as the Link I posted with % and numbers in the link, when I quoted the return message, the proper link was shown in the quoted part of the message?

When I read this thread I checked the message again and the link had changed to the one I sent you but without the %'s and numbers, it simply said in Brackets (edited by Admin) which since it said that I assumed had been the case.

So are you saying the way the link was displayed, and then changed was the way it was sent. :?

I'm saying whatever you received in your private message was sent by the person who sent you the private message. The content of the message cannot change unless you changed it yourself.

I just sent you the Taxitalk forum link which I assume is the one GBC sent you. Has it been changed?

If it hasn't been changed then you might wish to ask GBC why he sent you that link implying that TDO had changed it.

If GBC din't send you the link in the format you posted then it is you who has some explaining to do.

Whatever the reason TDO has nothing whatsoever to do with private messages sent between you and GBC. I think that should be made clear.

Well JD I have no idea about who done what or why, all I know is I got a message and it changed since I got it, it's beyond my understanding or comprehension so I will not mention it again.
