As someone who only does airports...('no profit in them'....pmsl) I agree Flightradar24 is probably your best tool.
I put the flight number into google as well before I set off. Airport websites are very unreliable. Manchester seems to be the worst at giving a time landed then you wander in to the Terminal and the arrival time is 20-30 mins later.I'm sure it's a tactic to get you in the car park early. BHX is a must for getting passengers to let you know when they have luggage.Park down the station while you wait.
if you have to meet and greet then use the multi story car park at £4 an hr.Better than risking £17/22 charge in the drop off.
At Heathrow as well as McD's on Bath rd there is 2 hours free parking at the Premier Inn (no ticket required). If you are at Gatwick with a long wait there is a Tesco nearby with 3 hrs parking. Oh and keep a little cushion in the car for a pillow!

how is there "no profit " in a airport run? the only ones who don't make a profit on a airport run are the ones who offer a "set fare" (p/h), i would do airports all day me tbh, meters on & they pay what is on it ! all these set fare wars are killing it , my last ph office was a set fare of £17.50 ( then there was a charge of £1.00 to drop off so we got £16.50, just recovered them in the end , didn't do them), it clocked £25 ffs!!! sometimes more, i had one once that clocked £28  , but only got the £17.50 & paid the quid for pick up, that fare cost me ffs !! another reason i went hack

i guess you have to get to know your airports and general waiting times etc. some airports websites are great some awful, same with parking fees. Just get used to your normal airport runs and make notes of where you can go to waste time and where you can find accurate info. sadly no shortcut just learn from it all

Went to ema last night, from 1st of May 100% increase to drop off £2 for 10 mins then a pound a minute, £52 for an hour, is this the dearest drop of point in the uk?

1. Always check on the flight before you set off and time your arrival with them coming out with their cases.
2. Always have somewhere to park up if the flight is delayed.
3. Buy a Tablet or an iPad with a 4g sim card so you can watch TV while you are waiting, you can also keep tabs on the flight.
4. Beware of extortionate airport parking charges, I got stung last night at Manchester.
5. Flights can show they're on time, you'll arrive at the airport to find it's delayed 30 minutes to an hour.

1. tell them where you are parked ( designated pick up points )
2. if the lazy clunts are , well, to lazy to walk to the designated pick up points fook em
3. don't take return booking ( just tell them to ring when they get off the plane, by the time they get sorted, baggage etc , you are nearly there anyway )
4. if they do book you , just put the parking charges you have on the fare ( not your fault its late, they booked it & you were there )
5. YOU ARE A TAXI DRIVER !! NOT A SLAVE !!

Why buy a tablet with 4G connection? It's only going to cost you money. Buy a normal tablet then set up a WIFI hotspot with your phone result, internet access. 8) 8) 8)

Liverpool £2 for 20 mins not been with the new drop off 2 car park free but no doubt it's a good walk.

https://www.liverpoolairport.com/parking/drop-off-2/

Picked up EMA last night. There is a sign stating £100 fine for staying over 10 mins in drop off zone.

Stansted is £2.50 drop off/pick up for 10 mins with a £2 a minute penalty for going over.

They are all a bunch of robbing bar stewards.

For passengers who are being dropped off or picked up, there are two car parks to choose from: the Express Drop Off & Pick Up car park (fees apply) and the newer Drop Off 2 car park (free for up to 20 mins).

Drop Off 2

First 20 minutes FREE
40 minutes £5
60 minutes £8
2 hours £10
4 hours £20
24 hours £50
Each 24 hours thereafter (or part thereof) is £50

Things you need to know to make your journey easier:- A ‘Red Route’ no stopping zone is in operation at Liverpool John Lennon Airport to ensure the safety and security of everyone visiting the airport. The Red Route no stopping zone is clearly marked by double red lines and signage on the carriageway. It is a parking offence to stop on the Red Route no stopping zone.

its going the way of meet and greet will disappear. at the moment if going to the airport i always pick up where dropping off, always get a contact number that i will phone when i think they should be through departures. wait in local areas till then and avoid paying anything. awful service but unless your willing to lose money doing these trips then this is the way its going

correct, no idea at all why someone would "meet & greet" tbh, all airports have designated pick up/drop off bays , what's the problem? if they are to thick to make it to your taxi ( bearing in mind most firms offer text back, with plate or reg number drivers name etc, eg: my last p/h firm a text would read , your car has arrived, reg number ******* silver insignia, drivers name is david ) frankly, if they are too fooking stupid to walk to a designated area at a airport they shouldn't be allowed in to the country ffs, do they need physically carrying to the car then ?? idiots !

That's fine when you are taking/picking up holidaymakers but when you are doing corporate work it's a bit different.
You have to go in and do meet and greet then.
