POLICE have released images of three men they want to speak to in connection with the attempted murder of a taxi firm boss.

Officers hope the public can help them track down the trio after millionaire property dealer Roy Wolfin was run over in Rutherglen , near Glasgow, on November 13 last year.

The 63-year-old, who has been linked to the Daniels crime family, was deliberately struck by a car, thought to be one of his own taxis, at around 3.45pm behind a business premises in the Lanarkshire town’s Kyle Square.

He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he was treated for serious leg injuries.

Wolfin owns KeyHome estate agents as well as KeyCars private hire taxi firm.

Members of the Daniel family have previously served as directors for his firms, and are known to have worked for him, including at his KeyCash loans shop in Glasgow’s Possil Park.

The vehicle used in the attack - a white Skoda Octavia - was later found burnt out just half a mile away in Croftmont Avenue.

Police Scotland detectives today released CCTV images of three men they would like to trace as they believe they may be able to assist with their investigation.

Detective Inspector David Scott said: “This was a targeted attack which left the victim with life-changing injuries and it is critical that we find whoever is responsible.

“A dedicated team of officers have been working on this inquiry over the last six months however we still need assistance from members of the public.

“If you recognise any of the men in the images I would ask you to get in touch with officers because we need to speak to them as part of our enquiries.

“Anyone with information can contact officers at Cambuslang CID on 101.

Alternatively you can call CRIMESTOPPERS on 0800 555 111 where details can be given in confidence.”
