If you’re dropping-off or picking-up at East Midlands Airport, there are a number of options available:

Short Stay car park: 30 minutes stay for £3.00
Free parking for up to 1 hour: Park free of charge in our Long Stay 4 car park, for up to 1 hour. Long Stay 4 is a 5 minute bus transfer from the terminal and parking is subject to availability.
Rapid drop-off: £2.00 for 10 minutes and £1.00 for every minute thereafter.

Got me on Tuesday morning, it was mayhem in the rapid drop off no one knew what was happening. When we got to the barrier I'd gone over by three minutes, £5 thank you very much.

Me    It's legalised robbery, the airport make money out of the airlines and every passenger that goes through the door, they also take a percentage of the shops takings, add to the money they get off the airlines for landing they aren't on a bad screw.

No they don't make money out of the airlines that's why they try and make money out of us once Ryanair is on board he gets cost price or less there was one airport somewhere in Europe that was paying him to fly there !!
