seeing the rank empty i turned in, a guy was waiting, i had to turn round, before i could get back another taxi shot onto the rank facing the wrong way (towards me) to grab the fare....

Two ways to deal with toss pots like this,use the power of licensing officers or take matters into hand yourself.

i pulled in for a slash on Saturday , normally they just rank behind you as all the lads know someone is at the bog, yet 2 cars jumped past me cards well & truly marked, cant wait for this weekend the wan%$£s

if you were out of your car then they had the right to do that but as for the other I think he was a bit out of order but I've had it done to me before it's one of those things

Rank etiquette Went out of the window a long time ago in the East Riding

On the weekend it can best be described as Fred Karno's Circus generally a bunch of needy and greedy Not helped by the deregulation of Plates.

I have a 8 Seater WAV And generally the most are Saloon Cars on the Rank. OK I accept some people don't like getting in Mini Buses

My best jobs are later on groups to the district Villages

My Cage does get very rattled by the following Driver's at the Back of Rank smoking eyeballing Punter's who they pick up
Leaving spaces between cars on the rank picking up at the back
And finally cars behind me sending job forward if its not going far

In other words the same as everywhere else

eh? surely the first car on the rank gets the first job, the bloke behind you should send the job forward because you are first on the rank, regardless of the distance?? or am i missing something here? ( i usually do )
