I heard mark lawrenson say on R5L last night that teams finishing 3rd Rarely get promoted through playoffs probably the disappointment of just missing out on automatic sapping team morale

but we'll see I'm sure "Alex" will be in full voice cheering them on at the game perhaps that will be enough

I bet they're gutted, that Wassal the Manager needs to answer some questions PDQ as to why he didn't play certain players and that their replacements fecked up.

Probably either drowning his sorrows or at home making the most of his better half's presence

I was there.

TBH the team and the fans could have done no more, so what's to mope about?

I would be concerned if we didn't have a chairman who is born and bred in Brighton, whose family haven't been associated with the club for 50 years, who hasn't spent best part of £200,000,000 on the club, and who isn't reckoned to be one of the wealthiest owners of a football club in the world.

But we have, so it's only a matter of time.
