David Cameron resigned so that a new leader, a more pro leave leader, could be elected. Now as far as I am aware it is the party members who elect the new leader. I wonder what the chances are that they will decide on a eurosceptic?

Alex Salmond reckons he has been kidnapped and no one will pay the ransom.

Only if all the nominees are eurosceptics.
I doubt that my vote will be for a eurosceptic.

I doubt they'll vote that way too

and that's why we'll never leave the EU

I also have my doubts as to whether we will actually leave. Having said that; If other European countries who also want out get their skates on......it might just implode :D

dream on there isn't the same strength of feeling in the other countries if we exit we will be the only ones unless we get a good exit deal and the EU isn't about to do that because it might encourage others to leave

The only way to leave and get any kind of deal that the people who voted out expect is to forget about any free market. Any access to the free market will have not just strings but huge great ropes attached to it. Sorry but in my opinion, leave must mean leave entirely or we will still be paying and taking EU citizens.
