Boris and Farage and all them have finished their roles. They will all now be looked after by uncle Rupert.
How on earth do you come to the conclusion that they have finished their roles? There has been a non binding referendum. We have not even started the process of leaving. These 2 were responsible for all the outlandish promises and now that they know that they can't deliver they disappear and leave the mess for others to sort out.
How can you say that our Government are unelected?
I said on the "EU in out topic" that I do not believe that we will be allowed to leave June 21st page 23.
It strikes me as more than slightly odd that Boris and Farage have resigned, both of them are highly intelligent with enormous amounts of courage. However the way that I would imagine the situation to pan out in the corridors of power, does not really surprise me!
We have to remember that there are vast amounts of money/wealth at stake. History tells us that man is at its worst when money/wealth is the prize, on the back of that I would not be at all surprised if behind the scenes serious threats have been made to them and their families.
Look at the situation now; Cameron resigns (he had to), Boris and Farage also gone and Gove goes back into the ranks leaving one heavy weight (not intended to be personal).........Therasa May! She failed massively with immigration, and now she (I cannot see it being anyone else) will be negotiating (of a fashion) with Brussels who still want us "In" (as does she and the money people).
The deal for all intents and purpose will focus around (access to the EU market) and (the free movement of EU citizens). She will come back with more doom and gloom, prior to that the Stock Market will also deliberately scare the pants off of the population with ie increased oil prices, food prices, and of course dearer holidays etc ie.......we told you so!
The bottom line being is that the leaders of the out campaign are out of the picture, leaving the "outs" with no real voice. In effect it leaves the "Ins" with a free run at staying in. T - May will come back with a rehashed version of "Staying In the EU" comprising of a slightly reduced contribution, and a scheme that will allow xxxxx immigrants to come in - whilst they look the other way (as they have already done) and to then allow all and sundry to come in. Democracy being the biggest loser in the UK and the UK along with the populations of Europe being screwed for all time.
