I can't be bothered with tennis purely because of all the pompous stuff that goes with it. The ball boys running everywhere, the standing to attention with your hand up offering a ball, etc. it makes it a different class game. I'm not a charver by any means but I can't buy into that [edited by admin] opinion?

Tennis ?? some of its brilliant to me mens doubles fascinating, these players are tremendously fit. had a go at it as a kid but didnt stick with it. plenty of tennis courts around Hampstead old chap

Back in your/my day they were superbly fit, as they used to play in 90 degree heat for over 5 hours. In those days they often went up to 32 games to a set - as a one on one, there was no hiding place.

P.S. Just google the longest set....70 - 68 in 2010 taking 11 hours and 5 minutes

personally I quite like watching a set or two but a whole match is too long for me. My favourite is watching Andy murray lose but was disappointed this year

If you think mens is boring try watching the women longer rallies often better skills on show and some of them are quite Fit in more ways than one
