Not quite what I meant ! has the change made your fellow councillors squirm or even change council policy as a result ?
No, 1 Councillor in opposition is not enough. the 2 independents are with the tories.
However thing have changed as far as taxi licensing is concerned although there is still a long way to go. I managed to get the Council to change the way in which they calculate the fees and this has resulted in vehicle licenses being £100.00 a year cheaper now.

Still working on it but the signs are good. We now need them to change the software that they are using to administer the licensing function to one that will be fit for purpose.
