Female taxi driver shocked by passenger's 'lewd act'

A man police want to speak to in connection with indecent exposure inside a taxi in Churchdown is the latest to be added to Gloucestershire Constabulary's Caught on Camera online gallery.

At around 3.40am on Saturday 2 July, a man caught a taxi from Gloucester to Churchdown.

As the female taxi driver was on Brockworth Road in Churchdown, she heard a noise coming from the back seat and turned around to see the man indecently exposing himself and performing a lewd act.

She was not harmed during the incident.

This case is just one of six featured in the latest batch of images from Gloucestershire police's Caught on Camera gallery.

Anyone who recognises a person in any of the images can report it quickly and easily via a special button on the page.

Amongst the other cases, police want to speak to a woman in connection with a distraction theft at a Stroud bank, where an elderly woman's credit card was stolen and then £480 withdrawn from her account.

Indecent exposure in a taxi in Churchdown on 02/07/2016 – crime no. 15722/16

At 03.40am I doubt very much if he was on this planet - it probably did not even cross his mind.

When people are off their heads on drugs and drink they don't look around them to see if there's a little red light somewhere.

Pity he wasn't with his boyfriend, then he could have made a big fuss in the press about the driver asking him to stop !
