Can anyone tell me if I am allowed to pick up a member of my family in the rail station or where can I park. It canna be to far from station as they have problems walking far.

You cannot take any vehicle into the station anymore.
Best to pick up market st at back of station as there's a lift up the steps from station. It's an absolute clutter of cars and taxis here though so time meeting there at same time.

As far as Car or Taxi users are concerned Waverley station adopts the "DILLIGAF" approach towards their clients in the same way that Edinburgh City Council does to all Car Owners.

I just won't pick up there anymore, I'll drop off though but not Pickup, tis not worth the Stress.

OK I have to pick up my two daughters there in 3 weeks time n one of them has hips problems n canna walk far.

How far is market Street from the rail. Is there any disabled spaces near by

The exit sits on market st , onto a pedestrian crossing.
The station is directly below main problem is the big flight of steps , but there is a lift up.
They can also borrow a wheelchair if need be and a porter will assist and take chair back.
I would get your daughters to be in place just outside and do a drive by pick up even if u have to double park for 60 secs.
