 Post subject: red light cameras

has anyone had a red light fine and protested and actually won?

asking because afew days back was at the lights and a amberlance was trying to get by so i went past the lights and let him go , he ignored this and just went round the junction. anyway i received a camera flash so guessing ill be done for it. do i have a case?

Read somewhere a while back someone did get done for doing that! as your not supposed to move for them was there argument! let them go round you!

I have heard of people winning an appeal in these circumstances but the emergency vehicle was also flashed at the same point so that there was evidence that the vehicle made way for the emergency vehicle.

Of course you have a case.

When you get your penalty through fill it as exactly as it happened. Make sure you give the time and they should be able to trace the ambulance call and route.
