I know you refer to Mansfield, but don't you mean Nottinghamshire, this will then include them all, but a lot of miners in that area were still in the NUM, so you are being unfair to those miners.

Bolsover and Shirebrook "Dennis Skinners constituency" had their fare share of miners breaking the strike.

Hey guys sorry it's been a while since I've been on here so I thought I'd give you an update, I brought the cab back from the insurers for £1800 sent it to a breakers in sheffield who I told I had a £3000 budget to get it back on the road who in return told me it was do-able got the cab fixed up and then was told it needed more work than anticipated and would now cost me £5800 any way got the cab back sent it for its safety tests and eventually passed but now it's plated and back on the roads as of Jan 2016 and earning money again although I think it still need sending to Peugeot and another grand or so throwing at it as it's got an electrical problem something to do with the bsi but for future reference would I buy a cat c back again NO
I bloody wouldn't

I seemed to have missed this one. When I saw the topic headline I thought that the driver had been propositioned

Anyway; I always feel aggrieved when I hear that someone is out of pocket due to the actions of others. One thing that was mentioned (but never really went into any depth) is that whilst the Insurance company will only pay the Cab value, you still have out of pocket losses! Is it possible to pursue those losses through the other drivers insurance company Or the person themselves?

There used to the be the TGWU Gaz up until a few years ago, people didn't like paying their Union subs plus it fell into the wrong hands (John Norman) who couldn't tell the difference between a HC and a PH, it fell by the wayside.

TT lives in another world, very much a past life when Unions were for us - instead of taking from us. Today they are siding with the government and big business, inturn filling their own coffers. The Unions sold out everybody years ago - they would have done nothing for you.
