Obviously this guy likes the uber serfs to drive him around, likes the slave like wages that the uber driver gets and is just a mouthpiece for uber, after all poober are just an app who are a private hire company, nothing fancy, nothing flash....

Having a call centre in the area to which you are licensed isn't onerous.

Expecting drivers to be able to converse and understand the local language isn't onerous.

Having insurance that lasts for the length of the license isn't onerous.

They are IMO the basics.

This guy is well named TITcomb,proved again a thick journalist who has not a clue about the TAXI and private hire trade.

Technology is not all its cracked up to be,had to tell a UBER punter on Saturday that he had been dropped off at a street that was 5 miles from his destination street of same name,left him standing as he had no cash.

especially if they had no local office and drivers that couldn't read a map :badgrin: :badgrin:

Uber don't use drivers, they use steering wheel attendants, an interface between computer and machine.
